Shakeh Havan /Entrepreneur

In 2001, Shakeh Havan Karapetyan established Artbridge, the first bookstore café and restaurant in Yerevan, Armenia.

During the past 20 years, she managed to change the country's bookselling culture by promoting Armenian books, exporting them to libraries and customers worldwide, and participating in international book fairs with the same vision of promoting Armenian issues and literature.

She has initiated the project “Exhibition and Sales” for rural areas in Armenia in collaboration with publishers to promote new publications.

Shakeh has been working with the Ministry of Culture and has been a member of different committees, such as UNESCO City of Books for Yerevan 2012.
