In 2026, ARé Fest emerges as GAIA TERRAIN—an invitation to enter the living conversation between human bodies, more-than-human presences, and the breathing environments we inhabit together. The festival reimagines landscapes as spaces of encounter, where earth, wind, water, stone, vegetation, and movement become not merely settings, but active collaborators in artistic creation and collective reflection.

Across shifting terrains, embodiment, ecology, and improvisation intertwine, revealing the land as something fluid, responsive, and continuously becoming.

Performances, exhibitions, artist talks, workshops, and round-table discussions unfold as interconnected forms of exchange, dissolving boundaries between stage and surroundings, artist and audience, gesture and ecosystem, thought and action. Bodies move with weather, ideas respond to place, and dialogue becomes part of the choreography of the festival itself.

GAIA TERRAIN invites audiences to experience art as an ecology of relations—where creation, learning, and conversation resonate within a larger web of life. It is a space for re-sensing our connection to the world, imagining new forms of coexistence, and exploring how culture can respond to ecological urgency.
